Nicole Wegweiser, LCSW

is founder and owner of Mindful Therapy of Monmouth County in Matwan, NJ.  She was trained and certified in hypnosis through the Clinical Hypnosis Society of New Jersey in 2017, and served as Secretary of the Board of Directors from 2020-2022.  Ms. Wegweiser is also a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, Supervised Practitioner of Psychodrama, EMDR therapist, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist

Workshop Details:

  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
  • All registrants must have completed an ASCH Approved Basic Workshop in Clinical Hypnosis (Level 1).

    In this virtual workshop, participants will be introduced to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and how hypnosis can be utilized during Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy sessions to deepen and enhance treatment outcomes.  Ms. Wegweiser will share video footage of using hypnosis during different aspects of a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy session. 

    After taking this workshop, participants will be able to:

    1. Identify the benefits of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. 
    2. Explain the different stages (preparation, dosing session, integration) of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. 
    3. Differentiate between psycholytic and psychedelic Ketamine-Assisted therapy sessions.  
    4. Demonstrate the benefits of how hypnosis can be utilized during the different phases of administration of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

    Eligibility

    Health professionals holding doctoral degrees in medicine, dentistry, podiatry and psychology, or doctoral or masters degrees in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or nursing, licensed in the state in which they practice; degree graduates receiving documented clinical supervision toward licensing, and graduate students in eligible disciplines with documentation of their student status from the Chairperson of their graduate program. All registrants must have completed the ASCH-approved Level 1 workshop.

    Continuing Education Credit

    We offer 2 Florida CEU's for licensed psychologists under 490 (Provider #50-774, Exp. 5/26); clinical social workers, mental health counselors, and marriage and family therapists under 491 (Provider #50-774, Exp. 3/27), and all our workshops count toward ASCH certification requirements. We automatically report to CEBroker.
